The ways in which we use or share your personal information will vary depending on your relationship with us. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the applicable Favorite Things terms of service. This Privacy Statement applies to our processing of personal information on our Services.
"Personal information" means information that relates to an identifiable, living individual person or their household. It does not include aggregated or deidentified data that cannot reasonably be associated with or linked to you.
Some posts on Favorite Things may be sponsored by brands or partners. We may use your activity within Favorite Things - such as products you favorite, posts you like, users you follow, and categories you interact with - to show much relevant sponsored content within the Favorite Things app. We do not share your individual Favorite Things browsing activity, favorites, contacts, or profile information with Advertisers for their own advertising purposes, and we do not use this information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
We collect information from different sources: information you provide directly, information we collect automatically, data we infer or generate, and information from third parties. We use your personal information to provide and improve our Services, manage our business operations, secure our systems, detect fraud, and meet our legal obligations. We also use data to improve recommendations and product discovery, to serve sponsored and affiliate content within Favorite Things, and to measure basic ad and referral performance using Favorite Things data.
Contact, profile, and account information. When you register, we collect your username, email address, phone number, device ID, and location (if you provide it). This information is collected to ensure recommendations are delivered based on your local community and preferences. You can opt out at any time. Friends and contacts.When you sync your contacts, certain contact information, such as names, phone numbers, and email addresses, is uploaded to and securely stored on our servers to help you seamlessly connect with friends. When you share your phone contacts, we suggest people you know who are already on Favorite Things. If you invite friends and they join, they will follow you automatically.
Inquiry and support information. If you contact us, we collect and use that information to respond, track inquiries, and improve performance.
Reviews, comments and profile content. Content you share on our Services (reviews, comments, lists, bookmarks, collections, messages, group chats, posts) may include your personal information. We use your profile information to identify you and connect you with other Favorite Things Community members. Community content, including comments and post likes, may be used in Favorite Things promotional materials.
Communications. When you use the Service, you may receive messages from users, Favorite Things may track your interactions with messages, collect and store communications, and share status updates on requests.
Screenshots and camera roll data. With your permission, we may access images in your camera roll, such as products you would like to add to the app to recommend to other users.
Survey and form information. If you complete a survey or form, we collect your responses, including testimonials, and use them for the purposes explained in the survey.
Event information. If you attend a Favorite Things event, we collect registration and badge information and may share it with event sponsors.
Browsing and email metadata. When you visit our website, use our apps, click on a Favorite Things product link, read an email from Favorite Things, or otherwise interact with us, we automatically collect metadata such as your IP address, pages viewed, referring address, device and browser type, date and time of visit, and errors. We use tracking and session replay technologies to provide support, improve navigation, and reduce errors.

Preference information and inferences. If you're logged in, we user your interactions within Favorite Things such as posts liked, users followed, products favorited, to generate preference information, make recommendation, and show relevant sponsored content within Favorite Things.
Product and shopping data. When you browse or interact with content on Favorite Things, we use information about the products you view, click on, save, or purchase to make recommendations and improve our Services, personalize in-app content, and measure referral performance.
Purchase history. When you follow a Favorite Things product link and make a purchase, we may receive basic referral or commission information, such as retailer, product, order value, or confirmation that a purchase occured. We use this to manage affiliate relationships, calculate commissions,measure referral performance and improve recommendations within Favorite Things.
We may collect personal information from third parties and combine it with information we already have.
Service Providers. Service providers performing services on our behalf (such as payment processors, survey providers, and marketing providers) may collect and share personal information with us. We may also use information providers to correct or supplement personal information, such as updated contact information. If Favorite Things has contacted you, we will share information about the third party that provided your information.
Social Media sites. When you connect to or interact with Favorite Things through social media, we may receive information you permit those sites to share, including name, gender, date of birth, location, and interests. The data we receive depends on your privacy settings with each site.
Publicly Available Sources. We may collect personal information from publicly available sources, such as contact information, employment data, and demographic information. We use this to contact individuals and personalize our Services. We do not sell this information.

Service providers. We may user service providers to support our business operations, such as hosting, analytics, customer support, marketing communications, payment processing, and administrative services. These service providers process personal information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own advertising purposes, and not outside of the Favorite Things app. We may advertise Favorite Things on third party platforms, but we do not share your individual Favorite Things activity, contacts, favorites, or profile information with those platforms to target you, retarget you, or create lookalike audiences.
Advertisers and Affiliate Networks. When you click on a Favorite Things product link, we may take you to a brand, retailer, or affiliate partner website, sometimes through an affiliate link. We pass basic click or referral information, such as the product clicked and thatthe referral came from Favorite Things, so the partner can attribute the referral and calculate commissions. We do not share your Favorite Things contacts, favorites, profile details, or individual in-app activity with the brand, retailer or affiliate partner for their own advertising purposes. If you visit or log in to their website, their privacy policy and terms apply.
Sponsored content and ad personalization. We may show sponsored posts or recommendations within Favorite Things. We may personalize this sponsored content using information from your activity within Favorite Things, such as products you favorite, categories you interact with, and general location if you provide it.
Favorite Things does not use or share your in-app activity, your contacts, favorites, product interactions, profile information, or device identifiers with third-party ad networkds or ad tech partners or to track you across other companies' webstes
We may provide Advertisers with aggregated or deidentified performance information such as impressions, clicks, saves, or general engagement trends, but not information that identifies individual users.
Compliance with legal obligations. We may disclose personal information where compelled by applicable law or valid government request, to protect rights and property, in connection with legal claims, to protect the security of our services, or to protect health and safety. Where possible, we object to improper legal requests and notify you of required disclosures.
Business transfers. In a merger, sale, or acquisition, personal information may be part of the assets shared during due diligence or change of ownership.
Aggregated or deidentified information. We may share deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify individuals. We will not attempt to reidentify deidentified data.
Sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information to Advertisers. Some privacy laws may define certain analytics, affiliate, or cookie-based sharing as a "sale" or "sharing" of personali information. Where required, we provide choices to opt out through our Do Not Sell page or cookie settings.
Favorite Things Affiliates. We share personal information across our subsidiaries, affiliates, and related companies to provide the Services. Our affiliates use your personal information only as described in this Privacy Statement.
With Consent or Direction. We may disclose personal information to third parties with your consent or at your direction.
Favorite Things uses artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and automated decision making to power certain features within the app, and to enhance our Services, including to determine your interests and make recommendations, enable shopping features and product discovery, create and maintain product databases, and power an AI chatbot. If you interact with our chatbot, we will let you know you are talking to a chatbot. We do not use AI or automated decision making to make decisions that would have a legal impact on you.
We may use deidentified or aggregated user data and limited personal data to train or improve models. Where such training uses personal information, we apply safeguards to minimize retention of identifiable data and to filter sensitive personal information.

Anthropic's API does not use your inputs or outputs to train their AI models. Your conversations with Eftee and product search queries are processed in real-time and are not retained by Anthropic for model training purposes. We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to automatically collect information as you navigate our Services. For details, see our Cookie Policy. You can manage cookie preferences via the cookie tool and opt out of certain tracking and targeted ads via the Do Not Sell Page.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information and require our service providers to do the same. To protect your account, use a strong password, never share it, and keep your devices updated. We will never contact you unexpectedly requesting your account ID, password, payment information, or national identification numbers.
Children. We do not knowingly permit children under 16 to sign up for an account and do not direct our Services to children. If we discover a child under 16 has signed up, we will promptly remove their personal information. Parents or guardians may contact us to request removal at support@favoritethingsofficial.com.

You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking unsubscribe or by contacting Customer Support. You cannot opt out of service emails (such as password resets or terms updates) unless you deactivate your account. You can manage push notifications in your account settings or through your device.
Advertising and tracking choices. You can manage certain advertising, cookie, and privacy choices through our device settings, cookie preferences, or visiting our Do Not Sell page. Sponsored content shown within Favorite Things may be based on your activity within Favorite Things, but we do not use that activity to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Closing your account. You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting Customer Support. You will lose access to your account and its content.
Data retention and Security. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you close your account, barring legal or reporting requirements, we delete your full profile within 30 days. We may retain some data after closure for legal or security purposes.
